Set in the prohibition era, this film sets up old ganster films with a comedic vengeance. Jack Palance plays Vic Morono, a high profile mobster with a weak spot for the ladies. Vic's chief rival on the mob scene is played by Chico Hamilton. Carol Lynley plays Wendy, a gorgeous blonde whom Vic eventually falls in love with. This period piece expertly combines comedy with action and features plenty of eye-candy in the form of explosions, shootouts and pretty ladies.
