Please note: You cannot pre-order or have RSD items placed on hold as this violates the pledge we have signed with RSD, so please don't ask.

Saturday, April 12, 2025

• When you come to the shop there will be a line starting on our furthest eastern door on the Broadway side of the business. It will be marked with a cone and a sign on the door. Grab a spot in line and we will take care of you. 

• Starting at 6am CST we will be going outside and asking the 1st person in line what their first 3 picks are and proceed through the line. You can pick anything as long as it is available, just no duplicates. We will go through the whole line until 8am. We will then let the line start moving into the store. At that point the 1st person in line will be handed their first 3 items.  They can then advance to a table where they can request 3 additional items. (So they will have a total of 6 items) 

• At this time you are welcome to either browse the store or pay for the 6 items and go back out and get back in line outside if there still happens to be an outside line. Once we have made our way through the entire outside line, we will pull the tables and you will be allowed to browse at your leisure. No duplicates rule still applies. 

• Doors will open at 8am CST

• We expect a large crowd, however the line will move fast as many people will only want 6 or fewer items. If you are looking to buy more than 6 items, please be patient. We will let you browse as soon as we can.
  

• NEW! We now offer a 3% cash discount! Bring cash and save.
• NEW! We will not be taking phone orders on Saturday unless you are calling to hold an item for local pick up later in the day and you are going to be making your way to the store to pick it up ON SATURDAY.  IF YOU DO NOT PICK UP YOUR ITEM(S) ON HOLD BY THE END OF DAY SATURDAY, YOUR ITEM(S) WILL BE PLACED BACK IN INVENTORY. We cannot take any phone orders Saturday that will need to be shipped. 
  

• The shop will close for in-store shopping at 7pm CST

• All remaining RSD stock will be available for purchase online at our website starting at 7am CST
• We will open for normal in-store shopping during our normal business hours 12pm-5pm CST
  

A few very important notes regarding online orders:

• Items in your cart are NOT reserved for you. Our cart system works like MANY other online retailers, in that items are not reserved until the checkout process is completed. However, Shopify (our website's host) has recently started using a queuing process for peak checkout times. Some of you may be familiar with it, if you ran into it during the last RSD on our site. Basically, if you're placed in the queue for an item that means that someone else added that item to their cart before you added it to yours. It gives that person time to check it out before moving on. It's also meant to help combat bot orders (which it was WILDLY successful at during the last RSD). While the queuing system is not our favorite, and we think in some ways causes more issues than it solves, please know that there is a chance it will be used if the traffic on the site is great enough.
• We DO NOT ship internationally currently.
• We only permit one copy per title of RSD records to try and get these records to as many folks as possible. Any orders containing duplicates of individual titles are subject to immediate cancellation. Multiple orders containing multiple copies of a title going to the same address are subject to cancellation.
• We get a LOT of orders in a short amount of time, so please know that our staff will be working overtime to get everything shipped, but it usually takes 1-2 weeks to get everything out the door.
  
• Any orders for RSD stock purchased before Sunday morning 7AM CST will be canceled per RSD rules.
