Dillon McCarthy can tell you exactly what kind of gun your favorite star was using in every scene of your favorite action movie. It's a knack that wins him a job at Bill's Gun Shop but leaves him unprepared for the very real - and violent - world of gun culture. Dillon finds himself suddenly face-to-face with gangs, cultish clubs, and dangerous thugs in desperate situations. He also finds that having a permit to carry hasn't turned him into the "real man" he was hoping to become. Frustrated, Dillon convinces Rick, his bounty hunter friend, to allow him to ride backup on his next job, busting two dangerous convicts on the run. With one mistake, the mission goes terribly awry, and Dillon is left with a smoking gun he needs to get rid of - fast.
